During college our son spent a semister studying in Sweden. I asked that he find some quilting fabric to bring home to me. For months he told me there were no fabric stores in Sweden. I suggested he 'try harder'; I was certain there were quilters in Sweden. He finally found an 'arts and craft' store only block from his college. He brought me three fat quarters. Hmmm, fabric in Sweden looks like fabric here. |

One of my first paper pieced projects. It did not take me long to get seriously hooked on this method of piecing. The only quilting I did on this project was stitching in the ditch. I found this pattern free on the Internet. |
