GREETINGS!

Regularly I receive notes from quilters around the world letting me know they enjoy the website.  I really do enjoy hearing from you.

Enjoy!

Hopefully you will find something here that you can use. Over the years I have found so much quilting information on the Internet put there by talented, sharing quilters. In that spirit I offer some of my ideas.

My last quilting adventure.... Landscape Quilting

My partner in quilting adventures, Rose, was curious about creating landscapes and suggested we take a class at Aunt Annie's Quilt Shop in Avon, Minnesota. So in March 2008 we took a day-long class learning the technique of creating a landscape. Aunt Annie's is owned and operated by Lucy Sjdkfd, a talented, talented quilter. Lucy is an excellent teacher, who drew out the creative spirit in each of us in class. Click on the link below to see what I was able to make that day!! (I had to add my borders at home.)

  1. Lucy was an awesome teacher! Recomend her classes.
  2. Lucy is an awesome artist! She did a 'trunk' show of her work.  Amazing!
  3. Coaching and encouragement provided! Just what we all needed.
  4. All students left with a feeling of accomplishment! Everyone created something that desires to be proudly displayed.
